Dr. Nicholas Outterson

Owner and Veterinarian

Dr. Nick Outterson was born in Medina, New York and grew up on a small family farm. That’s where his deep love for animals began—and it’s been his guiding force ever since. After earning his degree in biology from SUNY Albany, he went on to complete his veterinary degree at Colorado State University in 2012.

Nick has worked in a variety of mixed and small-animal practices with a focus on emergency medicine. He’s passionate about educating clients and helping them make informed choices about their pets’ care.

At home, you’ll find him on his own little homestead with three dogs, five cats, 15 chickens, 12 ducks, one cow, and a herd of Nigerian Dwarf goats. He loves being outdoors with his family—boating, kayaking, hiking, fishing—and living as self-sufficiently as possible.

“Everyone thinks they have the best dog, none of them are wrong.” – W.R. Purche
