Moreau Animal Clinic is proud to introduce Urgent Care Services to our community.

This service functions similarly to a human urgent care facility—no appointment necessary. You may call ahead or walk in, and you do not need to be an existing client to receive urgent care for your pet.

How Urgent Care Works

  • Cases are assessed by the attending veterinarian and seen in order of urgency.
  • Severe or critical conditions may be transferred to a 24-hour emergency hospital.
  • If your pet is in critical condition (e.g., difficulty breathing, severe trauma, collapse), please go directly to a 24-hour emergency facility.

Urgent Care Hours & Policies

Monday – Friday: 8 AM – 6 PM
No overnight or weekend urgent care services

Pricing Notice: Urgent care exams and services are priced differently from our general practice. Estimates for diagnostics and treatment will be provided based on the veterinarian’s initial assessment.

Payment Plans Available: We accept CareCredit and AllPet to help make care more accessible. You can apply online before your visit or in the office. Full payment is required at the time services are rendered.

What Urgent Care Covers

Our urgent care services are designed for non-life-threatening conditions that still require prompt attention, including:

  • Gastrointestinal Issues (vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite)
  • Lameness & Mobility Issues (limping, difficulty walking)
  • Pain Management
  • Lacerations & Wound Care
  • Porcupine Quill Removal
  • Cystitis & Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs)
  • Eye Problems (redness, discharge, swelling)
  • Ear Infections (head shaking, scratching, odor)
  • Hot Spots & Skin Issues
  • Coughing & Upper Respiratory Infections
  • Quality of Life & End-of-Life Care

Existing Clients & General Practice Appointments

  • Existing clients can still schedule “problem exams” in advance within our general practice.
  • If same-day appointments are unavailable on the general practice side, we may refer you to our urgent care department for immediate concerns.
